Scott Penix
President
With over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, Scott began his career in 1998 framing houses. Over the years, he has played a key role in building everything from custom homes to large commercial projects and assisted living centers across Nebraska and surrounding states. Scott's leadership journey began in 2013 when he became a superintendent, eventually transitioning to project management, and now serving as the President of Bloomfield Custom Homes.
As president, Scott brings a wealth of expertise and a hands-on approach to overseeing every aspect of the business. His commitment to quality, attention to detail, and dedication to client satisfaction have helped establish Bloomfield Custom Homes as a trusted name in high-end residential construction.
Outside of work, Scott is passionate about cars, enjoys spending time outdoors, and has a deep appreciation for animals.
Colton Dorr
Project Manager
Colton, originally from Kearney, Nebraska, is a third-generation home builder with a strong background in construction. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 2016, he began his career focusing on estimating and managing high-end remodels and additions. Since joining Bloomfield Custom Homes in 2021, Colton has been dedicated to delivering quality craftsmanship and managing projects efficiently as a Project Manager.
Colton enjoys working closely with clients, guiding them through the details of their projects, and ensuring their ideas are brought to life. His practical approach and commitment to clear communication help make every step of the process smooth and straightforward.
When he’s not on the job, Colton spends his time playing hockey, golfing, or working on home projects with his wife, Amber, and their dogs.
